Honorary SHSNY Board Member, Professor Massimo Pigliucci will speak on "paradigm shifts and the objectivity of science". This is a preview of one chapter of the new book he is writing for the University of Chicago Press, provisionally entitled "Nonsense on Stilts: How to Tell the Difference Between Science and Bunk." Massimo, professor of evolutionary biology at the State University at Stony Brook, N.Y., also holds doctorates in genetics and philosophy.
