12. We believe in the cultivation of moral excellence.

That's too vague to be really be a meaningful statement, I think. Aside from sociopaths, everyone "believes in the cultivation of moral excellence." Christian extremists, followers of the Taliban, suicide bombers and murderers of abortion doctors...

Instead of stating that we believe in moral excellence, maybe that statement should say, "We believe that moral excellence means, or is, or entails... " And then we'd have to get together and discuss a lot and argue a little to finish that statement.
