"A good way to spend a few hours on an off Saturday. I confess that when my family is here, HOH meet Up is not on my horizon."

The Humanists of Houston has been the premier Humanist group in Houston for 30 years. HOH exists to provide the opportunity for like-minded Humanists, atheists, agnostics, skeptics, and freethinkers to fellowship, socialize, and enjoy thought provoking activities on the interesting issues of our day.
HOH is also more than simply about meetups. HOH is a democratically run community organization that is in development toward working for causes, providing several special interest clubs, having family programs, and we are working together with the Houston Church of Freethought to afford a building space of our own, as Houston's first Humanist & Freethought Center.
As a Humanist group, we do not merely hold a naturalistic worldview based on reason, but are also concerned with living ethical, meaningful lives with concern for our fellow human being. As such, HOH also participates in a variety of activities designed to advance Humanist causes and values in the Houston area.
The Humanists of Houston is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. If you are interested in attending, joining, or simply have questions, please contact us at www.humanistsofhouston.org!
The Humanists of Houston is a proud member of the Houston Freethought Alliance.
HOH is also a Membership Chapter of the American Humanist Association, which means that should you choose to pay dues, they will include national membership in AHA.
Please note that we are a pre-existing group with many members who are not on meetup.com. Our contacts number over 400 people, and attendance at our many events is usually greater than are represented by RSVPs on Meetup.com (generally 12-25 depending on the event).
