No need to apologize - the events are for your enjoyment, not an obligation :)
We do hope you can make it out sometime though, as we'd be pleased to welcome you!
As for the Happy Hour, it's a pretty informal thing. If you're in the area, then we'd probably be around there after 8:30 if you wanna drop by. My wife Julie and I live very close and you can call my cell phone after you get out to see if people are still out there (they probably will be). My number is 713-834-2213.

I am sorry I have been unable to make any of the events. I have been so busy with graduate school and other projects that I have virually NO social life these days. It is really awful sometimes. How long will this event last? I do not even get out of class until close to 8:30pm on Wednesdays. Thanks.
