Welcome, Humanists!

The chief goal of our group is meeting other local secular humanists, people who believe in the basic goodness of the human spirit without supernaturalism. To us, Humanism is a way of thinking and living that brings out the best in people so that all people can have the best in life.

We emphasize reason and scientific inquiry, individual freedom and responsibility, human values and compassion, and the need for tolerance and cooperation. Most importantly -we must educate our children to think freely and critically. We encourage discussions, specifically political or religious on our message board and in our meetings. This is a place to share ideas and information to make our world better.
