We are a group of around 20 active regulars who meet weekly. This lively group focuses on human solutions to human issues from a skeptical, secular or humanist point of view -- the good, the bad, the funny, and the serious -- through an active ethical and rational approach to life. All are welcome. Please note: the number of Meetup RSVP's does not reflect the attendance; most of our members do not come from Meetup, and you need not RSVP to attend.

Join us for a discussion of the Humanist Manifesto of 1933. The Manifesto was written in 1933 primarily by Roy Wood Sellars and UU minister Raymond Bragg and was published with thirty-four signatories including philosopher John Dewey. Written in 15 brief articles, the Manifesto describes a science and reason-based secularism with a heavy interest in an egalatarian society working for the common good. Read more
