Meet other local Humanists, people who believe in the basic goodness of the human spirit without supernaturalism. Baltimore Secular Humanists has been meeting for over 15 years. BSH is a chapter of the Washington Area Secular Humanists (WASH). We have a meeting on the second Sunday of each month. Obama is known as a inspiring speaker, but his book indicates that he has given serious thought to current political problems. However, it is strange for us that Obama was raised by a secular humanist mother, but chose to join a Christian church. Read more
