"What is Humanism?" Does your heart sink when you see this title? Well this time it'll be a little different, more stuctured. Thanks to Jim and Britta Burtles, we have an article by Frederick Edwords of the American Humanist Association distinguishing types of Humanism, as he sees them.
- Main ideas will be printed anonymously, in the Newsletter.

All who come will get a copy of Edword's pievce. After the meeting we'll add it to our books for sale, at 50p a throw.

p.s. from Nigel B. - Apologies to those misled by the May dates in the March/April Newsletter. The first date, "Monday May 11 ", was impossible.

Another extremely enjoyable meeting. We were each given a copy of the article and gave our own opinion as to what each variety of humanism meant to us.Everyone was involved in the discussion including four guests who were attending for the first time. As always at our meetings, there was much humour as well as seriousness. I think we all learnt a lot.
