We don't have any specifically families events planned at this point. If any of you have any ideas or want to use this as a means to coordinate with other humanists with children, I'd be happy to facilitate that.

In the meantime, here is a note from NJHN president:

Hi NJHN members and friends,

I wanted to update you on some exciting events in the next few weeks. You may have heard of the "Good without God" campaign on NYC subways by BigAppleCoR.org, but you probably did not know that there is a NJCoR.org of which New Jersey Humanist Network is a member. We will have a billboard on the western spur of the NJ Turnpike at exit 15w starting this Monday the 26th of October. Hopefully, the publicity will bring new people to our website.

This fall the Rutgers Humanist Chaplaincy began with NJHN members Gary Brill and Barry Klassel as the founders. NJHN is a sponsoring organization for the Chaplaincy and as such you are all invited to a presentation by Greg Epstein, the Humanist Chaplain at Harvard University, discussing his new book "Good Without God:What a Billion Nonreligious People Do Believe".
