I decided to start this group after discovering among native American and other indigenous peoples their tradition of spiritual teachers called "Earth Keepers". Earth Keepers accept the responsibility to honor the spiritual essence of this Earth and all her "helpers" among the angelic beings, ancestral beings, the nature spirits and the elementals. By honoring and giving support to these beings, they support the Earth at this dangerous moment in history. Like humanity, these Beings need the supp …

We may not see an end to institutional and structural racism in our lifetimes, but we can continue to tear down these structures, brick by brick, if we join together to continue to raise our awareness, gather more information, plan, take action, evaluate, and gather more information. We can only be successful if we do thistogether, along which others who share the same orientation, definitions, and principles. The rhythms & colors of modern Bollywood films have surprising similarities to African culture. As an African American and a beginning cinematographer, I am fascinated with Bollywood choreography, storytelling & cinematic styles, and its similarities to my own culture. I foresee the development of new & distinctive film genres, as a result of this melting pot of cross-cultural influences. Do you have an open mind and are able to see our common humanity, in films and cultures different than your …

This group is for Triangle-area citizens of various backgrounds who want to debate and dialogue with people of diverse and opposing views. Debates will be held on politics, economics, religion, science, and many other topics. So many of us get our news and opinion from sources that just reassure us of our already strongly held beliefs. If we do try to engage someone else in a dialogue, it is often from behind a keyboard. Instead of just arguing with each other over the internet why not meet peop …
